Because pigmentation correction does not hold under the sun. Skin exposed after a peel rebuilds melanin and the spot returns — sometimes darker. From September to November, Geneva sunlight drops enough for the result to stabilise. It is the only real window of the year.
Radiance shows from the first session — that is the double exfoliation. On the spots themselves, count on all three sessions: pigment lifts in successive layers, three weeks apart so the skin renews between each pass.

For a superficial to medium peel, redness fades within a few hours to two days. Light flaking may follow — a sign of renewal. No social downtime is needed. Daily sun protection is however essential throughout the cure.
